Storm Center Update Sunday AM - May 20

KELOLAND begins a warming trend today. Highs today will warm to the 60s to near 70 with sunshine for western, central, and northeast KELOLAND. The southeast will have lingering, light, scattered rain, and clouds so highs will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s but the afternoon should see breaks in those clouds.

Monday will be sunny with highs at or above average for this time of year. The southeast will have highs in the upper 60s to near 70 while the rest of KELOLAND bounces to the mid to upper 70s.

A slow moving, upper level trough next week will bring very warm temperatures. Highs will warm to the upper 70s to mid-80s starting Tuesday with temps like that repeating into next weekend. And as that upper level trough digs through the Midwest, we’ll have near daily chances for scattered, popup, thunderstorms starting late Tuesday.
