This is the latest outlook from the Storm Prediction Center. The best chance of severe weather is in the slight risk area.
Tomorrow will be warm again with many areas in the 80s.
This map shows the rainfall totals on the latest European model output. We think the heaviest rainfall will be East River, but the exact amounts will depend on the training effect of rain along and behind the cold front Friday and Saturday. We'll be closely watching the negative feedback of dry ground into the storm lines in the Aberdeen area. We see the heaviest rainfall projects just west and north of Sioux Falls at this time.
Temperatures will be much cooler on Saturday with linger chances of showers. The weather should clear by Sunday and warmer weather is forecast next week.
