There are a couple of street projects in Sioux Falls that may affect your Monday commute.
Beginning on Tuesday morning, May 22, the outside southbound lane of North Fourth Avenue will be closed for approximately 200 feet between East Hermosa Drive and East 40th StreetNorth. This project is anticipated to be completed by the end of Thursday, May, 24.
Beginning on Monday, May 21, North Career Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction south of West Maple Street. Both northbound and southbound traffic will be shifted to the west side of the center median to allow work to occur on the east half of the street. Access will be maintained to local businesses and the Southeast Tech campus.
Beginning on Wednesday morning, May 23, the outside southbound lane of North Sycamore Avenue will be closed for approximately 200 feet north of East Third Street. Crews will be making parking lot and approach repairs. This project is anticipated to be completed by the end of Friday, May 25.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction areas and may want to consider alternate routes.
